Nearo
The nearest guess wins
How many Earths fit inside the Sun? How tall is the Eiffel Tower? In Nearo every question has a number for an answer. Every team writes down a guess, the answer drops onto a number line, and the nearest guess takes the points.
Some questions you'll know, some you can work out, and some are wild guesses where even scientists only have an estimate. That mix makes it great for families, friends, classrooms and team-building.

How to play
- Put the game on one screen. Each team needs a pen and paper or a mini whiteboard.
- Choose how many teams are playing, name them and pick the options and categories.
- Teams take turns to pick a tile from the board: a category and a question type.
- Every team writes a guess. At 'Pens down' everyone holds up their answer and the host types them in.
- Press Reveal. The answer lands on a number line with everyone's guesses. Closest scores, furthest may lose points, and bang-on answers earn a bonus.
Question types
- Bullseye One exact answer, usually a small whole number.
- Know it A precise fact you either know or half-know.
- Work it out You can reason your way there; the reveal shows one way.
- Wild guess Nobody knows exactly. The answer is the best accepted estimate.
